A record you cannot open without a subscription, an account, or a vendor's goodwill is not fully yours. Ownership means the files sit where you can reach them, in formats you can read without the tool that made them.
Export in formats that outlive the tool
Use the PDF for the stay summary, recorded timeline, item details, photo previews and costs. Download the separate ZIP for available original files, kept unchanged, and a list of any missing files. CSV exports provide rows you can sort and total. Review the record before sharing it, including missing files and unrecorded dates.

Back up on a schedule
Choose a folder you control (local, or a drive you already sync) and put a dated backup there on a cadence you will keep. Verify that a backup opens before you rely on it.
What StayTurn does here
Local records stay on your device unless you share them. Connected workspace records and files synchronize through StayTurn for authorized operators, with server-managed encryption. Existing device records join a workspace only when you choose to include them.
You choose when to download the stay record PDF, original files ZIP or CSV exports. Keep a separate backup of important records and original files. Where supported, Chrome or Edge can keep a separate local folder copy. Signing out does not erase files already stored on your device.
